Becoming Race Douglas Burke

I am pleased to advise that my practice will be expanding by an acquisition and merger effective from 1 April 2015.

Race & Douglas is a long standing Dunedin property law firm whose current partners are Stuart Anderson and Grant Dowland. Stuart Anderson will retire as a partner as at 31 March 2015 and I have acquired Stuart’s interest in Race & Douglas

Race & Douglas will then merge with Burke Law as from 1 April 2015. The firm will operate from Race & Douglas’s offices on the 2nd floor of the Savoy Building, 8 Moray Place, Dunedin. The name of the new partnership will be Race Douglas Burke and I will be practising in partnership with Grant Dowland.

I am very excited about this expansion. Being in sole practice can be challenging and I am looking forward to practising in partnership with Grant. I have been in sole practice since 19 October 2012, but would have been unable to establish a practice without the support of all my clients. I am very grateful for all my clients’ support and the faith they have placed in me by engaging me to act for them on their behalf.

Please note that my new contact details from 1 April 2015 will be:

With kind regards,

Chris Burke
